Spectacle Lenses

Single Vision: Standard lenses for short and long sight which may also contain a correction for astigmatism. Lenses are available in a wide range of materials to suit both your prescription and lifestyle.

High Index: Hi Index lenses such as Airwear mean that lenses can be made thinner, lighter, tougher and better looking than standard plastic lenses.

Scratch resistant: Scratch resistant coatings protect against damage and increase the life of spectacle lenses.

Non reflection: Designed to eliminate reflections from the lens surfaces; ideal for computer users and night driving. They also improve the cosmetic appearance of your spectacles.

 

Bifocals: Contain two optical corrections with a dividing line between the two parts. Typically the top part corrects distance vision and the bottom part near vision.

Varifocals: The modern ‘no line’ bifocal. Allows the wearer to see clearly at all distances as the power moves smoothly from the distance portion to the near portion. Unlike bifocals they are ideal for computer use and the lenses look better without the line. Now available as IPSEO.
Varilux Ipseo

Transitions: The changeable lens that is now in its 5th generation. These lenses darken when in bright conditions (UV light) and are available in both brown and grey.

Sunglasses

Protect your eyes against harmful ultraviolet radiation- and look good at the same time. Polarized lenses also protect against reflective light from surfaces such as snow and water. They are available in many materials and as single vision, bifocal and varifocal.
