About us

We are Independent Opticians who opened in Marlow around twenty years ago. For our first sixteen years we were in Spittal Street, however four years ago we were fortunate to move into The Old Post Office in the centre of the High Street. This has proved to be a fortuitous move as the layout of the building is perfect for an Optical Practice, which we believe makes it more welcoming and allows us to be more efficient.
We believe that in today’s high tech world it is important to keep up to date with equipment which is why we have invested in cameras which can take pictures of the front of the eye and also the back of the eye. We have a state of the art visual field screening unit and a machine which checks the eye pressure without touching the eye.
We also have a camera unit which takes and displays up to four photographs of you wearing different frames so that you can compare styles and see them properly with your own glasses on, if necessary!
As we are Independent Opticians we are not restricted to stocking any particular companies or brands and so can offer a wide range of cutting edge frames and contact lenses.

Lynda Kay
Reception
Lynn started with Insight the day we opened in Marlow nearly 20 years ago. During that time she has been responsible for organising the day to day running of the reception area in addition to using her fashion sense to help patients choose the most appropriate frames. Her patience has been invaluable for teaching our first time contact lens wearers.
